DuellaFit (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the DuellaFit mobile app and website (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using DuellaFit, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any profile details you choose to add.

Fitness and health data. To power challenges and progress tracking, DuellaFit syncs with your device’s health platform (such as Apple Health or Google Fit) to read activity data like steps, workouts, and distance. You control this access through your device settings at any time.

Challenge and reward data. When you join or create a group challenge, we collect the challenge details you set (goals, duration, participants) and any prize pool contributions and payout information needed to fairly distribute rewards to winners.

Payment information. If a challenge involves a prize pool, payments are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. DuellaFit does not store your full card or bank details.

Device and usage data. We automatically collect basic device information (device type, operating system) and usage data (features used, crash logs) to help us improve the Service.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: operate and improve the app; create and manage challenges and leaderboards; calculate and distribute challenge rewards fairly and accurately; communicate with you about your account, challenges, and updates; and maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: payment processors to handle prize pool contributions and payouts; service providers who help us operate the app (such as cloud hosting and analytics); and other members of a challenge you’ve joined, limited to what’s needed to display leaderboards and progress (such as your name and activity within that challenge).

Your Choices and Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from within the app. You may also revoke health-data permissions through your device settings. To request a copy or deletion of your data, contact us at hello@duellafit.com.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and restricted access to personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

DuellaFit is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect.
